After receiving calls from concerned area residents, police from the 106th Precinct pulled the lifeless body of a 66-year-old man out of the waters of Hamilton Beach Park last week.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Peter Sutherland of Woodhaven dead at the scene.
Sutherland’s body was sent to the medical examiner, who has not yet determined the cause of death. According to police, the ME is awaiting a toxicology report.
