Firefighters check for any extention of flames at the scene of a suspicious two-alarm fire at 106-07 95th Street in Ozone Park. The blaze, which happened at 2:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, tore through the top floor and attic area of the private house and caused considerable damage to an attached dwelling. A total of eight patients — one firefighter and seven civilians — were treated by medics. Five people were treated for smoke inhalation, one for a broken leg sustained from jumping from a second floor window, and one for minor burns to the head and hand. The firefighter received medical attention for back pain.
