Lucille Fostel, left, a member of Community Board 9 since 1981 was honored at the board’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 10 at the Majestic Marquee in Ozone Park.Fostel, with board member Andrea Crawford, was given an award commemorating her 27 years of service. Her leaving C.B. 9 is the result of a recent shoulder injury that forced her to retire from her role as a community leader.
