Today, Councilman Joe Addabbo (D-Howard Beach) and Assemblyman Rory Lancman (D-Queens) released data and maps at Joseph Mafera Park - Shaler Avenue and 65th Street Ridgewood - which reveal the number of sex offenders living in Queens broken down by zip code.
The officials highlighted a particularly high density sex offender to school ratio and called for an instant e-mail alert system to notify parents when an offender moves into a specific zip code.
