Cops shot a pistol-packing teen three times after a chase in Queens Friday night, police said.
Mikal Paden, 18, was in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital after being wounded in the hand, buttocks and thigh, officials said.
The confrontation unfolded about 5:30p.m. when three uniformed cops in a patrol car followed four young men who were acting suspiciously in Ozone Park, police sources said.
"The police put on the siren, and one guy put his hoodie up and the others ran," said Frank Salcedo, 14, who witnessed the shooting.
One officer and a sergeant ran after Paden, who led them on a four-block chase before turning and pulling a loaded .40-caliber Smith & Wesson from his waistband, police sources said.
"He runs towards an alley, and then there are about six shots," said another witness, Kevin Febus, 14.
Paden didn't shoot, cops said. Both of the pursuing officers fired their guns.
After being hit, Paden stumbled into an alley between two houses and collapsed near a backyard pool, where cops cuffed him, witnesses said.
"When they brought him out in cuffs, he was looking like he was proud, like he was on TV or something," said Franklin Valdez, 14.
The officers were given Breathalyzer tests and taken to North Shore University Hospital, where they were treated for trauma.
