ALBANY, April 16 (Reuters) - New York state has given companies that want to expand New York City's Aqueduct Racetrack by adding video lottery terminals until April 25 to submit final proposals, the director of operations for the state said on Wednesday.
The three finalists are: Capital Play, Delaware North and SL Green (SLG.N: Quote, Profile, Research), Paul Francis, the state operations director, told reporters.
Aqueduct, located in the city's borough of Queens, will get a $250 million expansion that the state will pay for by selling debt. The casino company will then have to repay the state for that borrowing.
