The candidates for a Queens state Senate seat had a fiery debate on NY1's "Inside City Hall" Wednesday.
Incumbent State Senator Serphin Maltese, a 28-year veteran of Albany, debated his democrat challenger, Councilman Joe Addabbo, at NY1 Wednesday.
Maltese told the voters he can continue to deliver millions in member item cash to the 15th District, which extends from Maspeth to Howard Beach.
Addabbo claimed he can bolster revenue without raising taxes.
The candidates became impassioned when arguing over how hard they work for their constituents.
Also during the debate, Maltese indicated his conference is ready to sign off on the governor's proposal to have Buffalo developer Delaware North build a racing and entertainment center at Aqueduct Raceway.
