More than 200 people attended a fundraiser held last week by Howard Beach Democratic District Leader Frank Gulluscio, one of seven candidates in the special election for the 32nd Council District seat.The event, at which members of the community were present while other political leaders were in Albany and Washington D.C., was held at the Roma View catering hall in Howard Beach on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Each person who attended was asked to make a $10 donation and to bring a can of non-perishable food to be donated to local food pantries.
