Kissena Corridor Park West Still Not Restored to Parkland By New York Hospital Queens (NYHQ)...

Two and a half acres of park land in Kissena Corridor Park was allocated to NYHQ as a temporary parking. The hospital is now using a parking lot in Flushing Meadows Park and the 2.5 acres has not been restored to parkland.

There is also construction rubble from the Hospital that has been dumped into adjacent areas in the park.

"Steve Mills, CEO of NYHQ, has promised they will vacate and restore the parkland as soon as the parking garage is built," Liu said, adding the volunteer conservancy of Kissena Corridor Park drafted the language for the letter, not NYHQ.
