The Rotary Club of Southwest Queens invited the community to join them at an open house on Tuesday evening at Prima Pasta and Cafe.
Rotary Club members Peter Modica, left, Stuart Schneiderman, Joe Trotta and Frank Gulluscio represent a cross-section of the community that includes business owners, executives, managers and political leaders. The club has helped raise money and awareness for several nonprofits, including New York Families for Autistic Children. Last year, its members donated $500,000 to S.T.A.R.S., a nonprofit youth organization in Howard Beach.
