Senator Chuck Schumer Endorses Ed Braustein for Assembly

On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, United States Senator Chuck Schumer endorsed Democrat Ed Braunstein, who is running for the State Assembly in the 26th Assembly District which includes Bayside, Whitestone, Bay Terrace, Little Neck, Douglaston, Floral Park and North Flushing.

“As a lifetime Bayside resident, attorney and Member of Community Board 11, Ed Braunstein has the experience and credentials that make him uniquely qualified to serve as the next Assemblyman from the 26th District. Ed can be trusted to stand up for small business owners to get New York’s economy back on track and create good jobs for New Yorkers in Northeast Queens. I also know that Ed will work diligently to get our State’s fiscal house back in order while ensuring that funding for New York’s vital programs and services is not cut,” said Schumer.
