Opening Day - Yankees win 9-5 over Tampa Bay Devilrays...

The Yankees win their opening game 9-5 versus the Tampa Bay Devilrays at Yankee Stadium...

Deceased Yankee, Cory Lidle's wife, Melanie, and son threw out the first pitch before the game...

Yankee's fan favorite Bobby Murcer returned to the stadium after his recent surgery for a brain tumor...

Bobby called an inning with the YES Network crew, and once his presence was pointed out on the video scoreboard, he received a standing ovation from the crowd, with the Yankees coming out of the dugout to applaud him.

Good luck to Bobby and the 2007 Yankees on their bid for another world championship...
