City Councilman Joe Addabbo of Howard Beach says Hillary Clinton, who he supports, will do well in his area, which he described as “Democratic, but a conservative district.”
After speaking to people at the A train station on Cross Bay Boulevard and Liberty Avenue, Addabbo said, “From people I’ve spoken to, it seemed positive [for Hillary]. A lot of people get it. To elect a president from their state matters.”
Addabbo is busy traveling to the polling stations in his district today.
“I’m visiting them now, thanking the workers for the long day,” he told me when reached by cell phone. “There’s no particular pattern, there’s some that are slow and some that are quite busy.”
