Emily Lloyd resigned as city environmental protection commissioner yesterday and announced she will take a private-sector job.

Lloyd, 63, will stay in the $189,700-a-year post until Oct. 31.

Lloyd, who will be COO of Trinity Church's real-estate operation, took over the Department of Environmental Protection after serving as sanitation commissioner under David Dinkins and Rudy Giuliani.
