Police Investigate Deadly Queens Shooting in South Richmond Hill - NY1

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that erupted in Queens early Sunday morning.
It happened at 135th Street and Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill around 6:30 a.m.
Police say when officers arrived they found Barri Jahoor, 35, shot several times in the torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a few minutes later they received a call about a man who checked himself into Jamaica Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
He is expected to be okay.
People in the area say they are disturbed by the violence.
"I'm scared cause it's not safe. You can't even walk in the daytime and when it's nighttime this happens -- people robbing and shooting all over," said one South Richmond Hill resident.
Police say they believe the shootings are related, but have no leads at this time.
