Times Ledger: Man Arrested for Robbing Ozone Park Bakery
OZONE PARK - Police arrested a 36-year-old man after he allegedly shattered the window of an Ozone Park restaurant and stole a cash register, a spokeswoman for Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Damien Williams was arrested after he was allegedly spotted smashing the register on the ground outside Sybil's Bakery & Restaurant on Liberty Avenue near 134th Street in Ozone Park around 2:45 a.m. on June 12, the spokeswoman said. The defendant also allegedly punched and kicked arresting officers, causing minor injuries, the spokeswoman said. Williams was charged with assault, burglary and criminal mischief, the spokeswoman said.
