The skeletal remains found March 4 in Forest Park have been identified as a Woodhaven woman missing since June, police said.

Reina De Los Santos, 43, was last seen June 17 leaving her home after a fight with her husband, Edwin Fuentes. Police are now investigating the case as a homicide.

City Councilman Hiram Monserrate (D-East Elmhurst) held a news conference Tuesday urging police to speed up the DNA-testing process on the bones, which were found stuffed in a suitcase. De Los Santos' family has long suspected foul play in her disappearance.
