CHARLES OBER RECIEVES SURPRISE ENDORSEMENT’S
A prominent public official who is running for the mayoral race in 2009 is supporting Charles Ober in his council race in the 30th, June 3 2008.
In a race where every vote is going to matter, Charles Ober is going to make a surprise announcement over big endorsements towards his campaign. “We have had a series of endorsements over the last few days and I am very excited over the lasted developments. This is going to show people that Civic people can run for office and make a difference if we try.” This is not the only endorsement that Ober has received. After the announcement of the political endorsement Ober is set to announce 2 more developing endorsements that have happened over the last 24 hours. In all cases Crowley was thought to be set in getting these endorsements but people are not happy with her performance and chose Ober over Crowley in all 3 cases.
“We are all very excited.” Explained Rudy Garcia, one of Ober’s assistants in his campaign. Garcia also explained “that we have been working day and night to secure these endorsements and when we didn’t think it was going to happen it hit us all in the same day.” A boast to the Ober campaign that has been under the radar this election, compared to Crowley. “Now this is a race that is going to get a lot more serious in the next 2 weeks” explained Ober. Ober is running without the support of the Queens county organization, which is kind of unheard of in Queens.
