Councilmember Joseph Addabbo, Jr. addressed the Democracy for New York City (DFNYC) linkup on Wednesday, May 7 at 7:30. The linkup took place in the back room at The Grind, 39-24 Queens Blvd., LIC.
Addabbo is challenging Serphin Maltese for the state Senate seat (SD 15th). He talked about his career and campaign. The Democrats need to pick up two seats in order to gain control of the state Senate, and this seat is one of the top targets. This was a chance for DFNYC members to meet Councilman Joe Addabbo "up close and personal," and have him answer many questions about his positions on issues that are important to them.
