Public Meetings in Brooklyn and Queens on the Future of Floyd Bennett Field...

Public meetings are being held about the future of Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, the 1,400 acre unit of Gateway National Recreation Area.

Floyd Bennett Field is one of New York City's largest public spaces, it provides many environmental, recreational, and cultural benefits to the people of Brooklyn and beyond, but its full potential has never been realized.

The National Park Service is now drafting a plan to shape Gateway's future, and Senator Charles Schumer and Congressman Anthony Weiner have formed a Blue Ribbon Panel to provide recommendations about Floyd Bennett Field for this plan.

Be sure your voice is heard by the people creating the plan for Gateway's future and your elected officials.
