Hillary at Baruch University on Tuesday June 3rd...

Hillary's autograph - postcard courtesy of Hillary in the House (watch video)

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Hillary's speech at Baruch College (CUNY) on June 3rd in NYC with my friend Barbara...

We arrived at approximately 6pm, since the doors were scheduled to open at 7pm...

By that time, the line was already around the block but would get much longer as the evening progressed, eventually encircling the entire city block...

Sallie O. Elkordy and her daughter Mary Elizabeth from the Cable Access TV show, Important Bills was present and interviewing the crowd outside in her usual friendly manner...

Hillary's campaign manager and predictor extraordinaire Terry McAuliffe was outside meeting and greeting the many supporters who turned out (see photo above)...

Just after having a photo taken with Terry and after having waiting in line for almost 3 hours we were approximately 50-100 feet from the front entryway when a NYPD captain got on a bullhorn and announced that the main auditorium was filled to capacity...

We were offered the opportunity to listen to the speech from an overflow room, despite the initial disappointment we decided to go for it...

After going through a security check we were led upstairs to a 5th floor lecture hall which exceeded my expectation, there was comfortable seating and a large movie screen in the front of the room with CNN
broadcasting primary returns...

Since we were among the first people to get seated in the overflow room we originally opted to sit near the rear of the auditorium so we would be able to make a quick exit...

We then saw secret service agents in the hall and hurried to get 1st row seats in hopes that Hillary might visit the overflow room after her speech...

Once the lecture hall was filled, campaign workers entered the room and set up a rope line at the front of the room...

At the end of the speech as expected Hillary came upstairs with Chelsea to give her thanks and encouragement to all the supporters in the room...

Being seated in the first row afforded us the chance to secure a place right on the rope line to greet Hillary and Chelsea...

I know, the photographs aren't the greatest but due to the large enthusiastic crowd and with the the large crowd jostling back and forth for position it was extremely hard to hold the camera steady...

But I hope they give a sense of the excitement I experienced being there...
