Woman Killed on Queens Boulevard - Crimewatch! - Leader Observer

The road known by the not-so-flattering nickname “The Boulevard of Death” has claimed another life, after a 76-year-old woman was struck and killed at the intersection of 70th Street and Queens Boulevard.
Shortly before 2 p.m. on June 4, a pedestrian witnessed the accident and called 911. The woman was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, but she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The driver of the car remained at the scene, and no criminality is suspected.
