SEVA held it's 1st Annual Dinner on December 9th at the Golden Palace Catering Hall in Richmond Hill. It celebrated Women's Leadership with Guest of Honor Dr. Kiran Bedi and other honoreess.
Dr. Bedi has retired as the Director General of India's Bureau of Police Research and Development. She has been awarded the UN Medal for services while serving as Police Advisor with the United Nations peacekeeping department and received the Serge Soitiroff Memorial Award by the UN.
Dr. Kiran has received many other awards including the Mother Theresa Memorial National Award for Social Justice in 2005.
