A Queens woman driving drunk and without a license ran over a 52-year-old man who was trying to fix his stalled car in Brooklyn, police said Sunday.
Lisa Smith, 38, was behind the wheel of a 1997 Mercury sedan and was heading south on Patchen Ave. in Brownsville at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Just before she reached the intersection of Bainbridge St., Smith's sedan slammed into the man, who was making repairs to his own car that he had double-parked on Patchen, police said.
Smith fled the scene without stopping but was caught after she crashed into an unoccupied car three blocks away near Fulton St., police said.
Smith, of Ozone Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated, vehicular assault and driving without a license.
The victim - whose name was not released - was in critical condition at Kings County Hospital Sunday.
